Juli Valliere is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and a Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor. She earned her Masters of Science in Psychology with an emphasis on substance abuse from Purdue University. Juli lives in Maine but spent 8 years living in New Mexico so she understands New Mexico’s people and their unique culture. Juli has been providing telehealth services for the past 5 years.
Juli has a passion for working with couples, adults, adolescents and the elderly as well as people with substance abuse issues. Juli believes that within every person there lies the innate ability to heal and find balance. She believes it is the therapist’s mission to guide, mentor and educate the client so that they may access these abilities to improve well-being and to lead a more positive, fulfilling life.
Juli’s methods are empathetic, compassionate and non-judgmental. She brings with her lived experience, making her uniquely qualified to provide therapy for PTSD, trauma, depression, anxiety and substance abuse as well as various other conditions. Juli uses an eclectic mix of CBT, traditional talk therapy, person-centered and holistic approaches. She adapts to the client in order to better meet them where they are.
