Through this experience she was able to see the need for mental health providers for all types of traumas.
She provides education and instruction in her community where there is a need, inspiring and encouraging individuals and families.
Teresa is EMDR Therapy certified and utilizes this technique when clinically appropriate. EMDR Therapy has been proven to be very helpful in areas such as trauma, grief and loss, self-esteem, anxiety, and when one "feels stuck".
She also provides clinical supervision for social work, counseling interns as well as non-independent therapists. She enjoys providing mentorship and education to up-and-coming mental health providers.
