Alexis is a provisionally licensed LMHC as well as a Licensed Substance Abuse Associate. Alexis believes in person-centered therapy with a focus on Cognitive behavioral therapy. Alexis provides a safe, open-minded, judgement-free environment where a vast majority of topics are encouraged to be discussed including: anxiety, sexual health, identity, familial issues, parenting skills, depression. autonomy and more! Alexis believes that self-worth and self-esteem are important for a basis of positive mental health.
Alexis received her bachelor's degree in communicative disorders with a minor in psychology and recently graduated from Grand Canyon University with a Master's Degree in Clinical Mental Health. Alexis has worked in the social work and behavioral health field for a combined amount of 4 years. Alexis has a passion for working with clients who want to develop resiliency and use their hardship as a means of motivation. Alexis encourages confidence, empowerment, self-worth, and overall loves to watch people find themselves and their voice in therapy.
