Patricia Garcia, LMHC

Bilingual Clinical Therapist

Patricia Garcia earned her master’s degree in Counseling Psychology from the University of Denver. She earned a dual bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Spanish from the University of New Mexico.

Patricia is passionate about fighting against stigmas related to counseling within minority/ethnic groups. She believes people should be able to receive services and resources in their own language and as a bilingual practitioner, she provides services in Spanish and English.

She has a passion for working with adolescents and young adults from diverse populations. However, her passion does not limit her from working with other age groups. Patricia’s goal is to provide a welcoming, comfortable, and safe environment for her clients.

Patricia uses a Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) approach to working with individuals struggling with Depression, Anxiety, PTSD, Trauma, and Substance use. However, she understands that every individual has different needs and works to adapt her approach to better address the struggles at hand.
